@Actual_Hec@Sunshxvine in that sense, her voice would start to be more understandable right, and things could have gone that way for a while, but in the end maybe execs forced the cutesy disney princess look so now’s there’s a huge gap between char design and voice
@Actual_Hec@Sunshxvine could be the way the director interpreted the voice scripts, lack of face-to-face communication with writers due to her being made in the pandemic and everyone was wfh. maybe her concept art and story at that time really hinted more towards street-style, punk-ish magic fighter
@Sunshxvine Which may very well be where so many of her skin sales come from, if you think about it. Think a calm and experienced Juno that have seen enough horrors and can now put up a happy-go-lucky facade, hiding her grim thoughts. A mix between Beidou and March 7th.
@Sunshxvine (2/2) …unfortunately, you do need to have some understanding of the languages and their surround cultures to get what I mean. she sounds soft, curious and playful in normal skins, commanding, ethereal and almost motherly in the mythic.
@OWAnonymous_ the thing is that her chinese voice is so good and embodies her character and image perfectly, yet somehow the direction for her English voice was like…strong independent woman who don’t need no man 🧍♀️
@ohshestakingit@OWAnonymous_ and even then, dps/sp is no quicker. WHERE is the .2s backfill ppl are talking about? when an enemy leaves after 1st fight, i go explore the map, find weird spots or try climbing everything as ana, making it a 4v4. oh no,i’m having fun w/o leaving, how preposterous 🙄
@OWAnonymous_ pls no 😭
as mercy/ana main since ow1 and finally just started dps
1 it might look like i’m throwing but i’m trying my best😭
2 sorry for my mechanical skills equivalent to a pancake😭
3 which is why he’s my comfort pick so i don’t end the game at 0k10dmg (yes, skill issue)
@Emrys_Lore and it gets terrifying quickly for younger fans who are more emotionally vulnerable. and this was one of the times that unstability drove a person’s career to a (very) close dead end. i’m just glad i try (with success) to surround myself with level headed ppl of all ages is all.
@Emrys_Lore I, for one, also cried my eyes out the days of the news and the whole following week, but i have since come to understand the fact because in the end, they are employees hired by a company to work. it sounds heartless and detached that way, but it is a plain simple fact (2)
