He won Best Hip-Hop at the MOBOs in 2005 while still unsigned, then released This Is My Demo independently and earned a Mercury Prize nomination

He helped prove UK rappers could build their own audience, tell distinctly British stories and succeed without waiting for the industry to validate them. That history matters.
