Here's a thought: Twitter has become not only a tool for propaganda and incitement to ethnic war, but also a means to numb the global population to cruelty and violence previously unthinkable.
And there is only one reason they'd do that.
I'm logging out.
I wrote a novel about a gated community in a contested land, about the nihilistic hedonism of a psychedelic trance festival hosted amid impoverishment; about the fortress heart.
Fascism is born inside ourselves.

@0x49fa98 I've done that - thanks. It's great.
Techno-optimism is for corporate whores, brainless idiots and a few fat controllers like Andresson.
Anyone with soul is out.

I have been contacted by several Labour councillors who say they have been told to remove tweets expressing solidarity with Palestinians & warned against attending Palestine solidarity demonstrations. Many allege bullying from regional officials.
Usman Bhaimia, a Labour councillor in Gloucester for 12 years, says he has resigned because the party is "no longer a safe space for Palestinians, Muslims and those who care about justice."
A growing number of councillors have resigned from the Labour party:
Asima Shaikh (Finsbury Park)
Mairéad Healy (Cambridge)
Usman Bhaimia (Gloucester)
Russell Whitling (Gedling)
Amna Abdullatif (Manchester)
Jessie Hoskin (Stroud)
Shaista Aziz (Oxford)
Amar Latif (Oxford)
Pegasus Spyware was battle tested on #Palestinians in the illegally Occupied territories before being marketed and exported around the world for profit. The intelligence + data garnered from this surveillance is now being abused and used to punish innocent Palestinians...
Has anyone listened to the podcast between @joerogan and @AbbyMartin ?
Is this all just a lie? Is it propaganda and none of this is happening? What exactly is she saying that isn't true?
Where are you going? Debate this morning in the @EuroParl in the presence of the @EU_Commission on the horrific events in Israel and Palestine. Barely getting started and @vonderleyen has left the chamber.
More than 500 people are reported to have been killed after an Israeli airstrike hit a hospital in Gaza.
Political leaders of all parties – including my own – must call for an urgent ceasefire and an end to the war on Gaza.
More innocent lives must not be lost.
