Enjoy the walk and a well deserved pint at the 19th with a bunch of calories to spare!
@NickWatts Dooks is probably the move from a convenience standpoint with rental clubs, especially if you think the prices at the highly rated courses are nuts. You can prob still get a time there and it’s an enjoyable walk. Just not elite.
@Going4theGreen@CountyLouthGC Brilliant! A trip to Ireland should always include at least one round at Baltray. Really fun links experience and the course is always in spectacular condition!
@ukgolfguy@kmbaert This list is a joke. But aren’t they all.
Just arrange by Alpha and then we can just gripe about what not on there. 🤣
Did I miss The Island and Baltray which are light years better than most of the courses in the list, never mind the severely overrated DR courses. 🤦♂️
@Going4theGreen I hope you made it to the Harbor Bar for a pint!!! Great wee pub in a spectacular location. Rosapenna is hard to beat - Worth a couple days there on any Irish golf trip. 👍
We’re proud to partner with @StewartGolf to launch a dedicated new section on the NCG website celebrating everything that makes walking the course so special — from the scenery and the strategy to the simple pleasure of playing at your own pace ⛳️

@jamierkennedy Narin & Portnoo is a fun sporty course in a majestic setting. Baltray is on my list for every 🇮🇪 trip along with The Island. Close to DUB and easy to hit on the way in/out. Rosapenna is worth 2-3 days. Rosses Point great homebase for Carne, Strandhill, Enniscrone and Murvagh.
