@_Deez_Games Agreed. While there have been some great games over the past couple years far as ones exclusive PS5? By far the worst for me as well. Between that and Sony's recent BS with their online service I'm done with them after this. Been here since the beginning but no PS6 for me.
@GenocidalFetus Thing is those options have been in games for years and most don't care. They simply weren't beaten over the head with them or had thematic elements changed to try and push an agenda. It's why a game like BG3 or ME is loved by many and a game like Dragon Age: Veilguard isn't.
@orbalology This isn't correct. Expedition 33 is obviously a BRPG which as everyone knows stands for "Baguette Role Playing Game". I thought this was understood.
@JamieMoranUK Disagree. They're being talked about to this extent due to recent PR moves, the current reorg, and their financial position. Sony has taken lots of hits recently too (deserved) but frankly they're in a better financial spot...for now. Which I hate because they're abusing it
@PeterP_1985 I don't disagree but I think at the time they weren't aware how bad things were. It's not a coincidence that all of this is occurring just as Microsoft's fiscal period is coming to a close on June 30. Would imagine their internal audit led to some "Oh shit" moments.
@WrestlerHauser The guy is an amazing character actor and regardless how big or small the role always provides a memorable experience. One of the most underrated actors in Hollywood. Seems like a cool dude too. Him and Billy Bob Thorton always bring it.
@xonebros I'm calling it now. They will probably move on it first, but I guarantee the next big move for console gaming companies is to make consoles that are offered on leasing plans or lease to own.
@xonebros Agreed. This guy is talking from emotion or personal preference not from a financial or profitability perspective. These are probably some of the best moves they can make in their current position and even then, it may be too late.
@stikves Asha said they have a 3% profit accountability margin. No investor in their right mind would go near that when it is that low. They could make more in a high yields savings account or with treasury bonds. It's insane.
@PlatoonPod To be fair, I think with the right talent these could be really interesting. Problem is Gunn seems like a one trick pony with what he makes, and these types of shows would make more sense once the overall DC Universe they intend was more established.
@xMBGx It's not looking good but they're taking the rights steps or least better than they have. They had to do massive downsizing. Doubt it's even over with yet. A lot depends on how their exclusives do and how costly their hardware gets.
@CultClassicCage The man has connections. Can't deny him that. Although he's also prone to epic stupidity. Like the time he claimed Dragon Age Veilguard somehow owned the "chuds" because it was so incredibly successful in whatever echo chamber he bounces around in.
@hasanthehun The fact that you freely admit how much you obsess with him simply to make a point about his clothes says so much more about you than him. This isn't the "own' you think it is.
@Publicpunk68@geoffkeighley Huh, I didn't know Grace Randolph had dyed her hair. As for the original post my wife and I aren't interested. Trailer fell flat for us. I like most of Nolan's work outside Tenet and Insomnia but think this one's a pass.
@Swurv__ I don't care what the sexual orientation of the character is. I care about gameplay and story. In fact, unless it is critical to the story, it shouldn't even be a talking point. We would all be better off in many areas including gaming if both extremes would kindly stfu.
@brad_polumbo I get her anger. With all the insider trading and incentives from lobbyists they receive and still get outdone by someone else making that much more money than you it has to be frustrating. They won't even get paid when they shut the gvt down anymore! Have a heart Mr. Brad.
