@DapsDraws If I am offered a job from a country like the UK or US, I know that I should be expecting a lot more. So thank you for sharing this, I have learned a ton over the years from authors/illustrators like yourself sharing about this

@DapsDraws Also what discourses like this do is educate people on the different markets and what they should be gunning for. An SA publisher typically publishes 1 original picture book a year with a run of about 2000 as they have to compete with big publishers from UK and US.
