ERC-8065 is one of the best ZK project out here.
I've been following discussions since late 2025, and from personal tests it functions like a "VPN" but for crypto, so you can dip into it's token privacy layer and do stuff, and it's unlike Tornado cash—a one shot privacy tunnel.

For non-fungible tokens (NFTs), e.g., ERC-721:
ERC-8065 cannot break the traceability of fund flows through burn and remint, since each NFT is unique and cannot participate in coin-mixing.
However, the use of provable burn addresses can still conceal the true holder of the NFT.
