So, I’ve been trying to legally change my name for about a year now. When I started the process, it was overwhelming. And after completing the background checks, I…just didn’t have the capacity to work on it.
Reminder: there is nothing “complex” about bombing children. We should all be able to agree that it’s wrong and we should do everything we can to STOP IT.
Warnock: "I need my neighbor's children to be okay so that my children will be okay. I need all of my neighbor's children to be okay ... the poor children of Israel and the poor children of Gaza ... those in Ukraine ... I need American children on both side of the track to be ok"
I HATE THIS. Leslye Headland, the first woman to create a Star Wars series, tapped into something fresh and exciting in the fandom with S1 and while I had my notes she absolutely deserved a second season to let those ideas cook. We all lose with this. https://t.co/Yms50LYwAH
Week 310. Today on the Genocost Remembrance Day for Congo, we once again protested with Hope4Kinshasa outside Exportkreditnämnden. We demand them to cancel the deals with companies and actors that exploit people and nature in DRC.
After a meeting with EKN, they have still not met our demands. The humanitarian crisis currently taking place since a long time in Congo – fuelled by capitalistic imperialism – cannot be met with silence. We must all raise our voices and stand behind the struggles and demands of those affected; all the countless people who are living with this violence and exploitation in their everyday lives.
No one is free until everyone is free, justice for Congo! 🇨🇩

Missing from most discussions is the misogynoire in which black women have always been beasts and brutes and not real women. Like ladyhood, womanhood was a construct that was historically beyond the reach of black women.
