Another choke from SRH chasing a mediocre 144 against DC. Another low score in the powerplay. They had an amazing chance to improve their Nrr and get the 2 points. This loss will hurt the team. Another couple of games and we will not expect anything from this team once again.

Being an SRH fan it makes it really hard for us to see the way our team bats even after having a very good batting line up. Heading into the tournament we were very excited with the team we made up at the auction after a disappointing batting order last season.

Today's PK innings is an example of how I would want SRH to approach the game.
They were 58/1 after PP. Post the powerplay they lost 3 quick wickets and in the next 6 overs they scored 31/3 i.e. 89/4 in 12 overs.

Even if we consider they hadn't had a big over, set batsman would explode in the last 5 to score a good score around 190.
This is the kind off approach I am looking for SRH to adapt, it could cost us some games, but will help us in the long run.

I know some people might find this request weird or wrong, but I would rather see us go All In than play a safe game and end up on the losing side. There is a lot of potential and talent in the line up and hence hopes for the fans.
