My problem with the “he may just be fueling his business” argument is that Jake seems to be a very logical and methodical person and he is in fact building his whole business on this. But the most valuable currency in business is trust. If he takes this too far and XRP does not perform as he has claimed, I would say he won’t have a business very long. Between people leaving, filing lawsuits, and encouraging others to stay away things could spiral quite quickly. For his sake, I hope he’s right. I like the guy, and he seems genuine, but you get between people and the money “you said” would appear for them, watch out they get nasty very quickly!
Honestly, I really credit you for getting me to want to understand how to be the utility that XRP needs and build my company on it! I used to be like everyone else “buy and hold” because I want my hands to become diamonds! But diamonds are found in the dirt and it’s time to get my hands dirty figuring out how to use this stuff! I owe you an email but I want it to be right first! Thank you for all you do for this community!!
Correct me if I’m wrong but this is what makes me so mad about the GTreasury and Hidden Road acquisitions. People look at what Ripple did and then scream that the price is dropping. I think it’s hilarious that people assume that these multi-billion dollar corporations would transition from TradFi to DeFi overnight and that their throughput would somehow magically appear on the rails in the same timeframe and that all of that would somehow magically moon the price of XRP all before laws are signed or even effective! If people don’t see the juggernaut Ripple is building and can’t comprehend that building a colossal battleship takes time then that’s on them 🤷♂️ Research, understand the plan, build and use the rails like @mrcauliman or STFU!!!
Parsing through all the stupidity and noise is infuriating! It feels like 99% of what we read on any social media platform is either a bold outright lie or a little truth with mostly bullshit filling every gap. Thank you for being a constant guiding light in this idiotic shitstorm!
Sir please forgive my ignorance, I know that utility and liquidity will drive price and utility, utility, utility is what matters. So as far as my dumb question goes, as a builder on the XRPL are you seeing jumps in utility for the XRPL/XRP or is this more of a slow and steady for now? I’d like to think as things like regulation take place and the XRPL/XRP start to really move into what they were designed for, we will start to see massive jumps in utility. In your experience would you say that’s accurate and do you see things happening in the short term that would cause this? Thanks very much 🙏
Still doing as much learning and research as I can and I sincerely appreciate your posts!
Last year Ripple purchased GTreasury and Hidden Road. Both of these companies are TradFi. Ripple purchased them to facilitate and begin the conversion to DeFi. You don’t just convert multi-billion dollar corporations to DeFi overnight, especially when the regulatory framework isn’t in place yet. Can you imagine the nightmare of converting not only these two multi-billion dollar corporations but also all the systems of corporations that these two companies do business with, all without regulatory protection?? The stupidity of people is staggering. This would be like building Royal Caribbeans Icon of the Seas without Coast Guard oversight, no logistical framework, putting it in the water immediately and then expecting that it not only doesn’t sink but operates effortlessly and brings in billions in revenue! $16T on chain is the opportunity and the goal, not an overnight sensation! Ripple is building something too big for people to even imagine. People laughing at Ripple and a $1 XRP are the same people who initially laughed at Bezos for building an online “book store” and could never in their wildest dreams have imagined a Trillion dollar corporation. They’ve lost their dreams and have nothing to do in their spare time but misinterpret and tear down others. This isn’t rocket science and it’s easy to follow the logic but these people make Barney in the Andy Griffith show look like Einstein!!
@JacobKinge If he’s so worried about it the scumbag can donate his own wealth! No one is stopping him but who? Oh that’s right his own commie self 🤦♂️ God these lunes are insufferable! Speaking of does Billie still own her mansion 😂
I’m not sure where you are getting your information, but I have so many reasons to believe in a very bright future for XRP! XRP continues to be a powerhouse in the digital asset landscape, excelling in use cases that stablecoins simply can't match on their own. While stablecoins provide pegged stability for value storage (like digital fiat) they're inherently siloed, issuer-specific, and tied to single ecosystems, making them poor for seamless cross-system transfers. XRP, by contrast, is engineered for high-speed, low-cost bridging in cross-border payments, on-demand liquidity, and tokenized asset settlements, handling trillions in value without the drag of traditional systems. Its neutrality shines here: as a jurisdiction-agnostic asset not beholden to any one bank or nation, XRP enables atomic swaps between currencies in seconds, slashing costs and unlocking efficiency where stablecoins fall short. They just can’t do that and Ripple has spent the better part of a decade making sure XRP does and in all the right ways 🤷♂️
There is also a major post-2008 trust deficit among banks which amplifies XRP's edge as a perfect neutral zone. After 2008, institutions are very wary of holding each other's stablecoins due to counterparty risks, competitive silos, and regulatory barriers. Why stockpile a rival's tokenized dollars when global fragmentation looms? Stablecoins don't "talk" natively across issuers or chains, creating liquidity islands that hinder flows. XRP bridges this gap effortlessly, serving as an impartial intermediary free from credit entanglements, much like a digital Switzerland for finance. This easily facilitates synchronized, trustless settlements without pre-funded accounts, turning potential rivals into collaborators in a unified ecosystem. They all want to get along while simultaneously pointing guns at each others heads. XRP vastly eases the tension and creates trust!
Fears of central banks or institutions cloning XRPL for private networks, tweaking for profitability while sidelining XRP holders are overblown, thanks to XRPL's entrenched network effects and open-source maturity. Building isolated systems incurs massive costs and scalability hurdles, especially for global interoperability, where XRPL's decade-plus uptime, ultra-low fees, and decentralization already dominate. Even custom tokens would need a reliable bridge to the wider world, boosting XRP's demand. Legislation like the Clarity Act bolsters regulated stablecoins with yields and reduced friction, but it complements XRP by clarifying its non-security status and positioning XRPL as the mobility layer for exploding stablecoin volumes! This is trillions in potential that amplify bridging needs.
For the XRP holders, conviction holds firm through clear incentives: institutions worldwide are driven to adopt XRPL for slashing cross-border delays, freeing trapped capital, and enabling 24/7 profitability far beyond stablecoin yields alone. With partnerships scaling, regulatory wins mounting, and real-world integrations delivering on long-term rhetoric, XRP isn't just competing! It’s the foundational arena bridging legacy finance to the future. The hybrid model of stablecoins plus XRP unlocks massive demand, scarcity, and value, making holders' dreams not hype, but a reality we see unfolding before our very eyes!
