Made a shastasaurus out of clay for my menagerie. Blue whale, barosaurus and straight-tusked elephant for scale. Some of the largest animals to ever exist. Black blob is a human.

It's dishonest to frame it in such a way. None of these laws will protect foetuses, they are about punishing women first and foremost.

@MCMonsters None of my references are in a presentable state but earlier pterosaurs would have experimented with all sorts of configurations before birds and dragons evolved. I haven't touched the aerodynamics formally but the physics/energetics allowed azdarchids to reach stupid sizes 😅

Some taxonomy trees for my #specevo/#worldbuilding project. Need to draw more often. It's basically a parallel Earth where mammals and archosaurs evolved on seperate continents, except animals also have chlorophyll + phycoeurythrin as photosynthetic pigments and 3 sets of limbs

@MCMonsters They do! The front wings are longer, forward swept, with the membrane connecting to the humerus of the second limbs. Some have a canard on the skull to offset some of the weight at the front. They're somewhere between Avatar Banshee and Riddick's Bioraptor for the most part.
