This football club is moving forward.
Today, we are extremely proud to announce Phil Stafford as the new manager of Burscough Football Club.
From the very first conversation, it was clear that Phil shared the same ambition, passion and vision for where we want to take this club both on and off the pitch.
Phil joins the club with a fantastic reputation and brings with him passion, leadership, experience and a real hunger to help continue driving this football club forward, heβs a winner and proved that this season with AFC Liverpool.
This is another huge step forward in our journey and we cannot wait to get started.
As a football club, relationships and respect within the game are incredibly important.
We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to everybody at AFC Liverpool, especially chairman Chris Stirrup, for the professionalism, respect and help shown throughout recent discussions regarding Phil Stafford.
The way the situation was handled speaks volumes about the people at the club and we truly appreciate the support and cooperation shown to us throughout.
We wish everybody at @AFCLiverpool nothing but success moving forward and look forward to seeing both clubs continue to progress
