This will be my last tweet about the 2023 #STLCards.

This was by far the most gutless, uninspiring, disaster of a season I’ve witnessed being a fan since 1998.

This organization is broken. It is rotten from the inside out right now and signing some free agent pitchers this winter will not fix it.

The fact that they finished worse than teams like Pittsburgh and openly rebuilding teams in Cincy and Chicago is a failure the likes we rarely see in sports. I’ll always be a Cardinals fan, but this team and this organization is lost and it’ll take major change to fix it. I’ll always have hope they find their way, but at this point the DeWitt family is just taking advantage of millions of fans and tremendous support from the city of St. Louis.
