BBI will be closing the intersection of Walnut & Weinbach for the reconstitution tentatively on 9/26 for 30 days.  Detour route signage will be installed before the closure happens. Detour will be from SR 41 to Lincoln Ave to Boeke Rd to the Lloyd Expressway.

BBI will have Lincoln Park Dr on the south side of Walnut St closed on Monday 08/21, for sanitary sewer installation. Residents will be able to enter/exit Walnut St from Boeke Rd or any other side street east of Lincoln Park Drive. (Spring, Kelsey, Alvord, Fairlawn, Park or Taft)

BBI will be shutting down the intersection of Vann Ave & Walnut St for the reconstruction of the intersection.

The work is scheduled to start on or after Monday August 7th, 2023 & will take approximately 30 days to complete.

Please note BBI will be closing Walnut & Dexter intersection on Wednesday (6/14) for force main installation. Traffic west of Dexter will enter/exit at Boeke Rd. Traffic east of Dexter will enter/exit at Welworth Ave.

Please be advised, BBI will be reducing Vann Avenue down to 1 lane each for northbound & southbound traffic on Wednesday, May 24th, from Lincoln Avenue to Sycamore Avenue. The lane restrictions are expected to last 2 days to complete the water main work.

Please note Walnut St from Roosevelt Dr to Harper Ave will be closed for force main & sanitary sewer installation. Walnut St will be closed on Thursday @ 7am and will reopen on Friday @ 5pm. Residents can enter/exit east of Harper at Dexter Ave and at Boeke Rd west of Roosevelt.

Starting next Monday, 3/20, BBI will be closing Walnut St from Villa Dr to Ruston Ave. This is due to sanitary sewer installation. Residents on the east side will be able to enter/exit through Dexter Ave. Residents on the west side will be able to enter/exit via Boeke Rd.

All side streets along Walnut Street from Weinbach Ave. to Boeke Rd., Phase 1, will be opened up to local traffic. Walnut St at Weinbach Ave. will remain closed. The official detour route, Vann to Lincoln to Weinbach, will still be in effect.

Please note starting on or after 1/3/23, Walnut St. from Boeke Rd. to Vann Ave., Phase 2, will be closed to through Traffic. All side streets along this section of Walnut St. will be closed. Local traffic will be able to access Walnut St. via Boeke Rd. & Vann Ave.

Local traffic will still be able to access Walnut St on the east side via Boeke Rd & on the west side via Lincoln Park Dr.

Please note the following road closures along Walnut St.
Walnut St will be closed at Fairlawn Ave on Friday 11/11 until Saturday 11/12. Walnut St will be closed at Taft Ave on Monday 11/14 until Tuesday 11/15. Both closures are due to storm sewer installation.

Local traffic will still be able to access Walnut St on the north side via Parker Dr & on the south side via Lincoln Park Dr & Spring St The official detour route (Vann to Lincoln to Weinbach) will also still be open to traffic.

Please note the intersection at Walnut St & Boeke Rd will be closed on Wednesday 11/02/22 at 7:00 am until Thursday 11/03/22 at 5:00pm, due to force main and storm sewer installation.
