You cant just pick out the good and not the bad-mediocre. One of their production lines is literally just outsourcing.

@miyu357501 @makura_aimers That's not really true many of us read or collect manga. Especially Jujutsu Kaisen which is one of the most popular series in the west. Sure there are people over here that just like the fights but that's probably the same in Japan as well, people don't always share opinions.

@ReanimatedYT Darling in the Franxx was fire until like episode 16. Then they added space shit, weird character dynamics, pregnancy. I got so much whiplash, I finished it but the fall from grace was cataclysmic.

@szngardevoir @reformedtaferzz From what I understand it's not really a JC staff production committee. They're just selected by the committee to animate it. Most studios selected would put up similar work if there were given such minimal production time.

@yoshiyshzey @csmtalko It's highly improbable that it under performs. Especially if MAPPA has it in a similar boat in which it's a self funded production. They'll see dividends from the theatrical release in Japan, US and then crunchyroll streaming rights after.
