Nobody is talking about the numerous slaps she received from Comfort, because in Nigeria, that’s “normal.” It’s perfectly fine for a random passenger to slap someone mercilessly; no problem.

What really matters, apparently, is that she dared to hold Comfort by her clothes. Nobody cares that Comfort was braless. Indecent dressing? That’s fine. It’s allowed. She’s a “fine girl,” so she can go braless and still slap people however she wants, without consequence.

The truth is simple: Nigerians deserve the leaders they have. We are worse than our leaders.
