There is a difference between planting and growing trees. We are growing trees as a way to curb climatic changes that we have experienced globally.
Today I joined Friends of Rungiri Dam and Friends of Ondiri wetland where a total of 3,000 indigenous species of trees

Ondiri swamp is one of the oldest swamps in history. It's located in Kikuyu sub county a few metres from the the mission area. Encroachment of the wetland has been done where many water animals and birds species have completely disappeared from the eco system.
