According to data emerging from these sources, an epic picture of the flight path of three such missiles is taking shape. It appears that all three units followed an identical route, hugging the terrain and tracing the bends of the Don River.

The most intriguing aspect of this story is that the route potentially ran at ultra-low altitudes directly above the riverbed. This is a classic maneuver to bypass radar systems, where the water surface serves as a natural corridor for a stealthy approach. The distance covered is staggering—the total length of this "journey" was approximately 1,800 kilometers.

Whether these were actual combat missiles or decoys remains an open question. However, the fact remains: flying such a distance right under the nose of the entire Russian air defense network is a demonstration of a solid operational level. The map clearly illustrates how these "birds" confidently maintained their course toward potential targets deep in the rear.

A Russian drone flew straight toward France’s flagship aircraft carrier, Charles de Gaulle, while it was sitting in Malmö, and Sweden responded the modern way: they did not fire a shot, they turned the air hostile.

According to SVT, the drone was launched from a Russian vessel nearby, headed toward the carrier, and was spotted by Swedish forces, who then used electronic countermeasures to jam it until it vanished from the area. After that, nobody is publicly committing to what happened next: it may have limped back to its launch platform, or it may have ended up in the sea. Sweden is not advertising the technical details, and Russia is not rushing to clarify whether it just lost hardware in front of a NATO partner’s port.

What makes this punchy is not the drone. It is the intent. You do not “accidentally” launch an unmanned aircraft from a naval vessel toward a nuclear powered carrier on a high visibility visit. This is classic pressure testing: probe reactions, map detection ranges, and see how quickly a host country can sanitize its airspace using electronic warfare. Sweden’s answer was equally clear: you can try it, but you will not get your little surveillance souvenir today.
