Mansfield Town star Aaron Lewis has turned down multiple contract offers to extend his stay at the club and is set to leave as a free agent. Lewis was a target for Plymouth and Stevenage in the January window with Mansfield rejecting bids for him. #mtfc#Stags
Right here goes, couldn’t care less what people think everyone has a opinion. The amount of piss running down Central Park last night after the fans forum is quite hilarious, people offended by being called fickle which defines most fanbases up and down the country, we all are. One minute calling to TC next he’s the next messiah, it’s part of being a fan. I still believe until an investor comes in with multiple millions and is ready to take on the losses and push the club onto the next level, Simon is the correct man to lead the club.
Would you keep putting your own money into the club to cover losses I wouldn’t.
Yes he’s made mistakes hands down he has, especially over the hiring over Wayne Rooney, we all know it was PR and it backfired. But before that, up until promotion he’s done well and was respected. The hate he gets from online is sad to see, all from people who never will go to a forum and challenge him.
Keeping Parkinson in his post too long didn’t help either, Paul Berne is head and shoulders better than him, he’s intelligent and insightful and holds good conversation.
Budget next season is going to be the same as this, again can’t see an issue with that, if we didn’t have a poor start we’d be up there challenging the top 2. Player turnover won’t be as big in the summer as last, another positive.
Foulston Park will continue to get hate yet if we don’t invest into the future Simon would still get beef to why we aren’t doing so. Can’t win.
Having DA back behind the scenes was a good move, Paul Berne I believe was a good move, not sacking TC when many were calling for it, those decisions have been good, if Simon has learnt from mistakes he’s caused, the last few decisions have given him some credit back.
