I've decided to have a social media cleanse for a while. I lost a close friend unexpectedly last week & I'm struggling to come to terms with that so this looks to be a good time to take a break and to sort my plans for next season & my head out.

Once again not planning to do any pre-season games so my next game will be 25th July and could be my first long distance game. The decision about keeping the website or not will have been made by then! It's usually #FACup extra preliminary round first weekend in August isn't it?

Saw something in my local mini Morrisons this morning that I really shouldn't have, Thatchers Vintage (8.3%) on the shelf at £7 for 3 bottles. The pub next door has Thatchers Haze in bottles at £6 a pop. Sadly pubs can't compete & one of the reasons many are closing.

In the film Idiocracy it took 500 years for humans to be more stupid but it looks like it is definitely gaining pace in this country right now. It takes a special kind of stupid to think it'd be fine to have a bbq on a local astroturf sports playing field. 🤦‍♂️

Before I take a break for the summer, here's my initial monthly plan for 26/27.
Two long trips per month (either previously visited or new grounds)
Two local games per month (probably concentrating on the @ThamesValleyPL & @ComCoFL).
