The scale of the #VAWG emergency is even more alarming when you consider that so many survivors don't report their experiences to the police. Without meaningful collaboration & action, women & children will continue to be failed. Read our full response at: https://t.co/b421OQ78WA

The biggest fear for tonight’s England match is not getting through to the finals right? Wrong. For many it’s a fear of them not making it through themselves! While football doesn't cause domestic abuse it can make existing abuse more severe. Donate here: https://t.co/4UIbVFQ7ia
Please share this link with journalists & editors, at Women’s Aid we run workshops on our media guidelines on reporting domestic abuse, which you can download here.
There is also a link to the @we_level_up guidelines on reporting domestic homicides.

It's time for decisive action. Together, let's build a safer future for all.
I'm THRILLED to share that I passed my viva yesterday. 🎉 Thank you to my examiners (Katie Halsey & Will Ashworth) for a really enriching discussion about my work & to my supervisors (Mark, Elaine, Nicola + Tim) for their guidance during my PhD! @ResearchNT @NT_Libraries

Today marks 4 years since the Government published the Harm Panel Report, yet domestic abuse remains misunderstood across the family courts.
We’re calling on the next government to implement full reforms of the family courts as part of a whole-system response to abuse.
I'm doing a sweeping survey of historic library collection interventions (exhibitions, talks, digital & innovative methods etc.). If you've come across any great examples then please get in touch and/or RT #libraries#twitterstorians#bookhistory#libraryhistory
