I've not...yet....been to all 63 #nationalparks, but there have been many re-visits! Looking at my list, maybe I do have an answer to the Frequently Asked Question, "What's your favorite park?"

Zion - 6 ❤
Bryce Canyon - 4
Smoky Mountains -3
Cuyahoga Valley - 3
Indiana Dunes (as a National Park) - 3
Everglades, Gateway Arch, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Mt. Rainier, Rocky Mountain, Yellowstone - 2

These parks are on my wish list to visit a SECOND time. There may be a favorite on this list, too.

There are all kinds of events planned along the famed route, so you’re bound to find one that tickles your fancy! There are music fests, car/camper/motorcycle shows, fun runs, vendor markets, flea markets, road rallies, retro events, historical events, national speakers, parades, film fests, boogie nights, guitar shows, world record events, and of course food and drinks everywhere along the Mother Road from Chicago to Los Angeles!

For our ILLINOIS friends, start with the RED CARPET CORRIDOR WEEKEND – MAY 2 & 3!

There will be different activities hosted by participating communities spanning 100 miles of “Main Street in America” from Joliet to Bloomington.

Come find us, too! We’ll be participating in the Dwight Downtown Vendor Market on May 2 from 10am-2pm!

Get your motor runnin’ and head out on THE HIGHWAY! See ya out there!

How the West was....and will be!

Old Town Scottsdale has a great Old West charm! There are historic sites, shops with a western vibe, unique pubs and restaurants, and plenty of Cowboy art! But...the town also feels chic and urban and up-and-coming, and there are driverless cars throughout the area!
A great juxtaposition of what was and what will be!
