A "Wi-Fi problem" caused Meta's live demos of their new Ray-Ban glasses to fail. Later, it was revealed to be an accidental DDoS Meta created on their own development servers, which the live demo ran on!
👉 When was the last time Wi-Fi got blamed in your world?
My Controller does the following:
- Supports 3 Sites
- Provides me VPN access when on untrusted networks
- Has a site to Site vpn connection
- Dynamic DNS
- and probably more.
Now I just need to update my EOL UAP-IN-WALL with the new WIFI6 AP.
@Ubiquiti#unifi#ubnt#proxmox
Decided to migrate my Unifi controller off of my windows hypervisor and onto My Proxmox server. Other than than the small outage while the access points provisioned, I would say it was pretty seamless. It could have gone horribly wrong.
@EyePvee6er Didn’t realize winadmin center was a thing. I just watched this video linked below. One of the cool features they mentioned was making the application available over the internet. This option seems like a horrible idea. Everything looks cool. https://t.co/r5ATAkStOP
I bought a Dell R710 last summer. I'm finally getting around to posting about it. Stick around as i post more about my adventures of setting up Proxmox, Plex, Unifi, Home Assistant (https://t.co/qRqEPOWoBa), and so much more. https://t.co/j559TFYvH3
That’s awesome. I hope my updates aren’t to slow! Have you settled on what your going to use to host the VM? Proxmox? Windows hypervisor? VMware? If you have any questions let me know. I’ve already setup Plex in a container. I guess I should blog about it now. Thanks for follow.
After a week of silence from UPS, I finally got a notification that the 96gigs of RAM will be delivered tomorrow. I can’t wait to get this installed on my server! What should I virtualize first?
@SharpNetwork I used to work for a school district and before I was hired all ap’s we’re wall mounted. Lots of complaints. Once I had them moved to the ceiling, the complaints reduced significantly. Don’t have statistical data to prove though.
Thoroughly impressed with @ubnt and the ease to setup ipsec Tunnels with the click of one dropdown window. Still need to work out DDNS with the EdgeOS though. Looks like I need to buy some more gear. Does anybody want to donate to a worthy cause? Or become a customer?
I have truly enjoyed this command over the years. Today it kept me from getting into a car and driving half way across the globe to validate something was wrong with the Cable or NIC.

for the first time with my sister to provide some remote computer support. I always wish there was some way around the downloading of software. But I think this will be a nice change from

@ubiquitinetworks just announced they finally merged #UNMS and #UCRM together. This has been a couple years in the making. Now that I have a secure billing/payment/ monitoring solution, who wants me to install and manage their network and WiFi!
Today I successfully figured out how to integrate the @ubnt #ucrm api call payment feature with @stripe. Now I just need to figure out what service I can sell with all my years of experience in technology! Hmmm #think
