100% on 25 you could atleast green 4-5 shots on a row then you knew it was coming. Rng was predictable so u could take a layup or something. On 27 wow they rlly were smoking crack on making this. You cant predict it so u might get fucked off any shot (speed up and slowdowns) so i agree much much worse. Awful game. Worst 2k ive ever played
@2KIntel I would love for the answer to be yes, but I think they cooked the game so badly no amount of patches can save it. And this is coming from a guy who loved 2K. Really sad to see.
I'm in disbelief at how they could release the game like this. Either
@Beluba
and the entire dev team took the year off and crammed 1 month of game dev in last minute, or they're actively smoking crack while working at the office. No other explanation.
@TrueShooting Same here brother. I'm in disbelief at how they could release the game like this. Either @Beluba and the entire dev team took the year off and crammed 1 month of game dev in last minute, or they're actively smoking crack while working at the office. No other explanation.
@ThreeDoncic Good list but we're just scratching the surface here. Worst 2K game I've ever played! I don't even use Twitter, but the game is so awful I had to make an account just to clown on 2K and Mike (it hurts to say his name knowing hes been fucking us the last half a decade) Wang.
@JoeKnowsYT He will praise 2K27 no matter what state it's in because his whole business depends on staying on Take-Two's good side. Can't trust anything he says about this game.

Out of the million problems in this game, if you're gonna come back from vacation and fix just one, fix this one first:
The random speed ups and slow downs on jumpshots are the most game breaking thing in 2K27, and it's not close.
Every 2K before this one, you learned your shot timing once and it stayed consistent. You picked a jumper, got in the gym, and your hands learned the exact release. That's what separated good players from bad ones. The grind actually meant something.
In 2K27, depending on the gather, you get a speed up or slow down on roughly 1 out of every 3 shots. There's nothing stable to learn anymore. You can't build muscle memory around a target that keeps moving.
Worst part is it punishes the best shooters the most. If your timing is locked in, a random speed change makes it perfectly wrong. Casuals who are guessing anyway barely notice. The game is literally rewarding luck over practice.
And you can't react to it. The shot is over before you can adjust, so it's not a skill check, it's a coin flip on the single most important action in the game.
It messes with everything else too. Was that a bad contest or a random speed change? Is that jumper actually good or did you just get lucky rolls? Nobody can evaluate builds, animations, or their own improvement when the most basic thing in the game isn't consistent.
In Rec, Pro-Am, or wagers, games should come down to who played better. Right now there's a hidden dice roll on every jumper, and close games feel stolen instead of lost.
Make shot timing consistent.
