Judith Eva Barsi, la pequeña actriz de 10 años que dio su voz en “Todos los Perros van al cielo”, tristemente fue asesinada por su padre en 1988 mientras dormía; solo porque la pequeña ganaba más dinero que su papá.

A raíz de esto, la canción 'Nuestro amor' que suena en los créditos, fue dedicada a su memoria. Para honrarla, inspiraron el diseño del personaje y sus gestos en los de Judith.

Al enterarse de la noticia, el actor Burt Reynolds, quien dió voz a Charlie en la cinta, pidió regrabar sus últimos diálogos para hacerlo despidiéndose de ella. Mientras grababa, vio una foto de la niña y se dice que tomó 70 intentos en dar los diálogos bien, puesto que el actor se quebraba en llanto.

Especialmente en el diálogo: 'Yo también te extrañaré'.💔
