The greatest lesson in this political era has to be that experience is one hell of a teacher. Nigeria had to be this bad for Nigerians to be united and have correct values. I'm sure after @PeterObi tenure, we won't forget how bad things can get with wrong choices!

@Gviev Makes sense. There is also one metric I'd like you to factor in. Nigerians! Its not really upto @PeterObi or tinubu to win. The day Nigerians are ready to take back their country, we will all know.
Let's set the records straight here! In ADC, the party wants a consensus method. Atiku Abubakar also wants a consensus method. Peter Obi however wants a direct primary method. This way, the people will determine who becomes the party's presidential candidate and not some few party executives.
For those who don't know, the new electoral law allows for only two options which are direct primary and consensus. The law has abolished the delegate method.
The advantage of the consensus method is that it's cheaper to run however it has a huge disadvantage which is that a candidate emerges by the decision of just very few party executives. The direct primary on the other hand allows every member of the party to participate in the primary thereby ensuring that the most popular candidate emerges.
The ADC and Atiku Abubakar want CONSENSUS while Peter Obi wants DIRECT PRIMARY. There is video evidence to back up my claim in the comment section.
Be the judge, who is more sincere and who is running away from primary?
Nigeria will be OK .

Personally can’t stand when people are gassed by who can “PLAY” politics the best. You can’t understand that it’s literally the lives of the entire population at stake, it’s not a game, it’s a fucking job position. Like you can clearly see a certain candidate has no solid qualifications or desire to do the job well asides “ HE CAN PLAY POLITICS” and that’s what is getting some of you excited ?
🤦🏾♂️
Pretty interesting rhethorics from the Atiku camp, so it's important to do a recap of some sacrosanct facts:
1) That Atiku, as vice president to president Olusegun Obasanjo, moved to truncate Obasanjo's second tern bid by insisting that Obasanjo should step down and support him to become president in 2003. It took the intervention and mediation of all the elder statesmen to get him to back down
2) That Atiku decamped to the APC from PDP in 2014 to contest the APC presidential primaries with the reason that the presidency should return to the North.
3) That in 2018, he decamped back to the PDP after his failed bid of 2014/15 in order to contest the PDP primaries ahead of the 2019 presidential election. In this instance, it was agreed that no southern politician should stand for the primaries as it was still the turn of the North
4) That when Atiku won the PDP primaries in 2018, he sought the backing of Obasanjo who made him agree to two conditions: a) that he'd choose Peter Obi to be his running mate (Peter Obi had to be persuaded to accept). 2) that regardless of the outcome of the 2019 presidential election, that he'd not contest for the 2023 presidential election, and that he'd throw his weight behind Peter Obi in 2023 as the presidency had to return to the South. Upon agreement, Obasanjo supported him and convinced Peter Obi to run with him
5) That while Peter Obi delivered the South in the 2019 election, Atiku failed to deliver the North, losing to Buhari in his stronghold.
6) That in 2022, when it fell on Atiku to keep to his words, he reneged on them, and not only refused to support Peter Obi, but threw his hat in the ring for the 2023 presidential election, effectively forcing Peter Obi to seek another path.
7) That this singular move in (6) above led to the collapse of the PDP as a political party.
8) That in 2027, the presidency is supposed to remain in the south, and that the honourable thing, yet again, would be for Atiku to stand down and throw his weight behind Peter Obi and whoever Peter Obi chooses as his running mate, in order to redeem himself for his 2023.
Having recapped these publicly verifiable events, the entire nation now watches keenly in the hope that Atiku will, for once, put the interest of the nation above self.
@PeterObi You are still supporting and funding. The present government is still borrowing. You're behaving like a president. This government is behaving like opposition. This irony don tire me your excellency!
