Homes built on prime land along Magadi Rd have been reduced to ashes.
It seems like the parasites in serikali that regularly launch arson attacks on Gikomba & Toi market under the cover of darkness are now eyeing land in the Bangla(Bangladesh) area.
Suluĥisho as always, ni moja.
FACES OF SHAME.
They spent years condemning abductions, extrajudicial killings, police brutality, corruption, election malpractice, economic hardship and human-rights violations. Today they are seeking political seats while supporting the very Government they once condemned.
REJECT!! REJECT!! REJECT!!

The pants don’t fit!
A Kirinyaga gubernatorial aspirant dished out oversized panties to women as campaign gifts.
When they couldn’t fit, the women took to the streets in protest.
This is me right now. Two years ago I was shot during the June 25 Gen Z protests. I've been living with a spinal cord injury since, and I self-catheterize because of neurogenic bladder.
That led to recurring UTIs and sepsis. Today I successfully underwent surgery at Emory Hospital Nairobi to remove a bladder stone at my left vesico-ureteric junction (5x7mm). The fragments were removed. I'm recovering now with some pain and bleeding, which the doctors say is normal.
@VOCALAfrica_ helped me get here, and I'm grateful. But I still need medication, physiotherapy and follow-up care. I still haven't received any government compensation.
I'm sharing this because I need help for what comes next. Any support means everything. 🙏🏽

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, can you answer these three simple questions?
How do you claim to be the spokesman and political voice of the Mt Kenya community while sitting in a Cabinet alongside CS Aden Duale, whom you have watched repeatedly make remarks that many in the community consider hostile and provocative toward Kikuyus?
How do you reconcile that position with your role as Deputy Party Leader of a party whose Secretary-General has repeatedly made public remarks attacking or disparaging the Kikuyu community?
If you are genuinely the political spokesman of Mt Kenya, where exactly is your voice when these things happen?
This is crazy! 😂😂😂 Sifuna has supporters with brains beyond normal understanding. Like this one — he says Ruto shouldn't be asking @edwinsifuna for an agenda; he should ask the people. Eti Ruto is not running against Sifuna; he is running against the people. #SisiNdioSifuna
A Kenyan Gen Z has vowed to fight corruption in his area by monitoring traffic police officers collecting bribes from motorists. He says he will show up daily and livestream the officers if they continue demanding bribes.
The Billionaire Tycoon Behind Mastermind Tobacco Whose Burial Lasted Just 1 Hour and Was Attended by Only 8 Family Members.
For decades, British American Tobacco (BAT) dominated Kenya’s cigarette industry.
Then one man decided to challenge them at their own game.
His name was Wilfred Murungi.
Murungi was an electrical engineer who first worked at Kenya Power before joining British American Tobacco Kenya (BAT). He eventually rose to become a technical director, learning the cigarette-manufacturing business from inside one of the world's biggest tobacco companies.
They say a good student knows when to stop sitting in the classroom and become the teacher. Na ndivyo Murungi alifanya.
After years of working at BAT and learning the tobacco business from the inside, alifika mahali akaamua, “Sasa enough is enough — it’s time to write my own story.”
In 1985, Murungi made a decision that would completely change his life.
He left BAT.
Instead of simply starting another small business, he decided to build a company that would compete directly with his former employer.
He spent the next two years putting the pieces together working with tobacco farmers and establishing the processing and manufacturing infrastructure needed to produce cigarettes locally.
Then came 1987, when Mastermind Tobacco Kenya was incorporated.
And in 1989, Murungi unveiled the cigarette that would make his name famous across Kenya:
Supermatch.
The brand was aimed heavily at ordinary Kenyan smokers, particularly customers in rural and lower-income markets. Two years later, Mastermind introduced another brand, Rocket, a filterless cigarette targeting the lower end of the market.
And suddenly, BAT was no longer playing alone.
The competition became serious.
By 2002, BAT's share of the Kenyan cigarette market had fallen from about 90 percent to 71 percent, while Mastermind had grown to approximately 22 percent, making it the second-largest cigarette manufacturer in the country.
Murungi didn’t stop at Mastermind Tobacco. He grew his business empire by taking stakes and serving on the boards of several companies, including ARM Cement, Athi River Power Company, Greenlands Agro Producers, NGM Company, Continental Tobacco Group, Nanyuki Ranching, Ozzbeco Breweries, Remu Microfinance Bank, Mitithiru Company, and Tobacco Commodities Inc. in Canada.
At one time he found himself in a long-running confrontation with the Kenya Revenue Authority, with disputes over taxes running into billions of shillings. The fight became so significant that it spilled into the courts and even Parliament.
Na ju biashara haikosi fitina. As his empire continued growing, his success was beginning to rattle the tobacco industry—especially his former employer, BAT.
Then came allegations that took the battle to another level: corporate espionage. In 2015, BBC’s Panorama reported allegations that BAT had engaged in spying on Mastermind Tobacco. BAT, however, strongly denied the allegations.
But here is what made Murungi even more intriguing…
While his company was fighting battles in the headlines, the man behind the empire was rarely seen. He kept a very low profile, avoided publicity and stayed away from the limelight.
Murungi wasn’t your typical billionaire looking for cameras and headlines. He was the kind of man whose businesses were everywhere… but himself, almost nowhere.
And that is how he earned a reputation as one of Kenya’s most reclusive billionaires.
Even people from his home area in Tharaka-Nithi rarely saw him, watu Tu walikuwa wanaskia Ile ndio Nyumba ya tajiri. His homes were heavily guarded, with visitors having to pass through several gates before reaching the main residence.
But behind those gates, there was another side to the man.
Murungi was involved in community development and philanthropy, often without seeking publicity.
Some Christians have become so accustomed to poverty that anything excellent, beautiful or expensive immediately looks “unbiblical” to them. 😂
The criticism of RHEMA FEAST is wild. The stage is too grand, the pastors look too good, the artists are too polished, the convener is a billionaire … so somehow the Gospel must be compromised? Ati “udynasty mingi.” 😂
I’ve listened to the sermons myself … 100% of them. I read my Bible, and I’m yet to find the “false teachings” people confidently keep talking about. Disagree with the theology if you must, but let’s at least make the argument from Scripture, not from someone’s bank balance or stage design.
Wakristo need to break free from the idea that holiness must look poor. If RF had a pulpit made of sacks and pastors dressed in torn clothes, some of you would be calling it “anointed” and “deep.”
We need to stop confusing poverty with godliness. Some Christians are genuinely trauma-bonded to roho ya umaskini.
A group of nine aspiring candidates from Northern Kenya, including yours truly, commissioned an independent opinion poll across the region last month.
The findings are striking: UDM and DCP emerged as the parties to watch. More importantly, the data points to a clear political reality—if elections were held today, a united opposition would sweep Northern Kenya.

According to sources, Alex the associate editor of the standard was going to be fed to crocodiles in River Tana. He was to be disappeared without trace!
What helped him was the quick noise Kenyans made and luckily there was someone who documented his abduction.
As Kenyans we must remain vigilant between now and election but most importantly, we must never allow Ruto to get another term as President.
If Ruto gets another term as President, we would have thrown our nation to the dogs and what will happen post 2027 as the demagogue entrenches himself to be Museveni of Kenya will make the abductions and extrajudicial killings we have seen in his first term, look like child play.
If you truly love Kenya and wish it to continue existing, then you must vote out Ruto.
This might be the most Nairobi thing I’ve ever seen 😂🔥
Man really put a full DJ setup in the back of a pickup and is cruising through the city playing R&B like it’s a moving rooftop party.
I honestly think this guy might be 1 of 1 in the world!🚚🇰🇪 Thumbs up @djLordwin 🎧🥂🇰🇪🚀
