As we delve into the discussions at the 6th edition of the #NBSHousingBaraza 2024, themed "A Home for Every Ugandan," @housingfinanceU resounds its commitment to addressing Uganda’s housing deficit by facilitating 100,000 affordable houses by 2027 through innovation, digitization of the credit process and strategic partnerships.
Through solutions like Zimba Mpola Mpola, we are empowering Ugandans to achieve home ownership, as highlighted by Charles ‘Mandela ‘ Muhumuza, the treasurer of the biggest boda boda association - KAMBA. Over 2,000 riders have built their homes through our Incremental Housing Solution through his stewardship and outreach program.
To make home ownership accessible to everyone, regardless of their income, we established a microfinance department that provides housing solutions for the ‘muntu wa bulijjo’ or the informal sector. With this, every Ugandan shall have an affordable place to call home.
We invite all stakeholders to join us in building a brighter, more inclusive future for Uganda. Let’s build homes, foster hope, and shape a better Uganda.
