@thwimbooo @TaylorMieSean It sure is but that doesn’t mean that people aren’t allowed to feel tired, overwhelmed, or god forbid that they’re busy doing something else at the front desk and aren’t able to talk to you right away. Front desk is absolute chaos. The clinical setting is controlled chaos.

@CNviolations For those wondering, yes the glass particles can enter the vial but the liquid is drawn up with a filter needle that makes sure no glass enters the syringe. Ampule bottles also are spill proof when opened. If turned upside down the liquid will not fall out.

@Kaiser_Sigma Exactly. Insurance, office, and patient. It is our job to inform but we cannot change policies. Patients need to be held accountable, insurances need to do better. The empathy is gone because being screamed at for things we cannot control is tiring. We try our best to help.

It felt unnecessary. But I guess I should have just done it to prevent people from jumping to conclusions.

@atommaster82 @suchnerve Yes, I was referring to their post being about Covid. Some healthcare people are mean and it is due to the pandemic causing patients to treat us like crap. I have plenty of patience for patients, just not for the people who threaten and yell when they don’t get what they want.

@Kaiser_Sigma Absolutely! It happens all the time, insurance companies are literal scams. They change things all the time without telling anyone while expecting no one to read the fine print. And yet the responsibility to know everything falls on us for some reason.

@interesting_aIl That’s just techaderm… it’s used to cover bandaging for wounds that can be hard to use Coban or gauze on.. or for some, second skin which is commonly used for tattoos to keep the drainage in and tattoo safe.. so weird.

@Raindropsmedia1 Yall she printed it herself. No working there would take the time to completely change her chart information just to print out a sticker with a fake name and then have to go back to change her name back in order to ship the sample out to a lab. You people are so gullible.
