TWJOI was made to support local cinemas in Suffolk affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and to highlight the incredible work done by @khakidevil at their site in Suffolk, who were also heavily affected by the virus. The film will be offered for free to local Suffolk cinemas

Our trenches received their Lockdown Haircut today!
After a fairly inactive 18 months they had taken on a rather 1920 look so the team have spent the day strimming and weeding before starting on some repair and maintenance work.
Still plenty of weeding to do but it’s a start!

Another nice survivor cropped up this afternoon - an original 1914 dated web rifle sling, made by Hepburn, Gale and Ross Limited.
It still has lovely clear markings stamped into the brass work at either end.

Old Chumrade Dickie Ingram was chuffed to find that he still fits into the 1940 Pattern Battledress Blouse he wore on the #KhakiChums 1994 #DDay50 and 1999 #Holland60 Tours, and he hadn’t seen since until today.
