White countries in the World Cup have lots of black players.
Black countries in the World Cup gave zero white players.
Why are black countries so racist?
🚨🇧🇷 A Brazilian fan was so focused on what was happening beside him during the match that he didn't realize the cameras had him live on the world broadcast. 😭
Everything was fine until he looked up and saw himself on the big screen. The panic on his face said it all, in that moment, he remembered millions of people were watching. 😂📺🌎
True story, I was nominated for employee of the quarter for saving our company millions of dollars a month for rearchitecting a complicated legacy app
But they gave the award to a girl in HR because “she shows up every day with a smile on her face”
BOOMER: “Just buy a house instead of renting.”
ME: “Average house is $420,000.”
BOOMER: “Get a mortgage then.”
ME: “Rates are at 7%. That’s $2,800 a month.”
BOOMER: “Cut back on expenses.”
ME: “I don’t eat out. I don’t travel. I drive a 2015 Civic.”
BOOMER: “Maybe get a second job.”
Funny how every solution means working more for a system that keeps making the finish line further away.
But nobody ever tells the banks to lower the rates.
Zion Suzuki
Ghanaian Father, Japanese Mother, born in the United States.
His family relocated to Japan when he was very little.
The choice to use his mother’s surname and not his father’s surname is generally due to integration.
Since they were moving permanently to Japan, it only made sense to use that surname.
In Japan, family registration and daily life strongly favor Japanese surnames for smoother integration, schooling, legal matters, and obtaining/affirming Japanese citizenship (which he holds).
If they remained in US or moved to Ghana, he probably would have used his father’s surname, I assume.
Anyways, he went through Urawa Red Diamonds’ academy before going on loan in Belgium and then established himself at Parma in the Italian Serie A.
He’s one goalkeeper many clubs are monitoring, he was linked to Manchester United at some point, and I hope he gets a big move shortly.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Zion Suzuki
