I’ve been quietly building something for watch collectors.
Today, I’m opening up the waitlist for Watchdex. A digital vault to track, archive, and share your timepieces with care, context, and pride.

🧵 (a short thread below)
@alexcooldev I'm constantly debating whether to start a skool/circle community and teach AI driven development workflows but keep thinking about my language barrier 😢
I don't know if I'd like to do it in Spanish, very toxic communities there
I made my first internet dollar!
It's been a while since last post. Recently decided to jump into the SwiftUI apps journey for my next project...
Felt in love with the results so I decided to rebuilt Winder from RN to native iOS, added IAP and today I got my first sale ever!🥹
Not yet but I want to. I have an US tiktok account warmed up from last year, I was thinking about posting some content but I feel like I don't have idea about what type of content would be good
Any recommendations? I'm looking to start the marketing journey so when my real next app is ready, I know what to do
Last week I took a day off from my regular job and decided to finish the first take on a directory site I'm working on. It's now live!
The plan is to show amazing content creators in the watch community and with time adding more sections like:
- Recommended seller accounts I've bought from
- Watch brand history
Also it was a great opportunity to keep practicing doing video editing and getting comfortable with the process of doing some marketing 💪
What do you think?
Recently I've been feeling like shadow banned on X, posting a lot of hard work and barely getting a few links and impressions while the common post of "whats everyone working on" always gets hundreds of likes and gets thousands of reactions, it is just me or do you feel the same?
@adamlyttleapps You man are blessed, it's difficult to find a partner that makes you company and support along every step of the way!
I'm happy to read these type of posts, you're the reason a lot of us keep trying and thriving!
Fluxon UI v2.0 is fiiiiiiinally here! 🎉

Been experimenting with all the stuff everyone says you should do for app launches.
Launch platform post (SoloPush), Reddit communities, Meta ads... 62 downloads later, I get why people say marketing is way harder than building.
The code was the easy part.
I always thought adding multiple languages to React Native apps was a pain.
Turns out with Expo + Winder, it's actually really easy.
I just copied everything from another project with one prompt. No drama.
English and Spanish both running perfectly in 5 minutes.
Honestly, kind of surprised how smooth it went.
Years of late-night coding taught me one thing: blue light glasses aren't just for people who need glasses.
They're for anyone staring at screens past 9pm.
I can code way longer without getting that weird eye strain. Wild how long I went without even trying them.
When I'm not wearing them, I get more stressed than usual while coding.
5 years of that I could've skipped.
If you're up late building, it's worth a shot.
Sometimes the best move is to take a side road.
Haven't touched Watchdex in a month, but shipped 2 apps and picked up a lot about building with AI.
Now I'm back to it full-time, and the toolbox is looking way better.
Weird how stepping away can actually speed things up.
Let’s see what happens next.
I have two sides 😂
During the day, working on an "Alternative route" feature for transport logistics based on PostGIS queries and a C++ Routing Engine.
During the night, let's update the copy of my landing page.
Dear Indie devs,
if you are building:
- React Native, Phoenix, Elixir, JS
- Cloud automation, AI experiments
- Git workflows and CI/CD
- Image editing tools, productivity hacks
That’s not just a Full Stack Developer.
That’s an entire indie studio.
I think I'm getting decent at creating OG images for my sites. I tried to put more love into this one.
Spent the last few hours adding the necessary meta tags, creating low-size assets and working on my cross-promotion strategy to promote Watchdex on this editor 💪
As a lot of people on X say, take one feature of an app that already works and improve it, that's what I did!
This is my take for the "text behind image" cool effect but I decided to go on a different route 👇
💻 Because the tech can work fully client-side I'll offer it for free, no accounts, no infrastructure, full-privacy
🌎 Localized for Spanish-speaking countries first planning a good SEO/Marketing to get high traffic
📈 Grow it to become a de-facto tool which I can then use as a way to promote my other projects
I decided to spend this weekend to build it and launch it and now I have another free tool under my belt to offer ♥️
