Now an international team is finally pulling cores, a drill bit snapped on something harder than limestone inside the hull outline, and suddenly the story is “okay, maybe it’s a boat, but that doesn’t mean it’s the Ark.”

Funny how the goalposts move the second the Bible starts looking less like a fairy tale.

I don’t need a lab tech in Turkey to tell me Scripture is true. But I’m watching this one. If those cores come back as ancient wood under that mound, a lot of smug people are going to have a very bad week.
