@TrumpDailyPosts Was it really that much more appropriate to use a personal lawyer to speak with foreign leaders, while a pause in funding approved by congress just happened to occur, in order to investigate alleged corruption that just happened to involve your likely political rival's family?
@RepMTG So is your use of the term "uniparty" just cover to show that you don't believe in nonpartisan politics and the necessity of compromise between differing political parties and ideologies?
@TrumpDailyPosts I am not saying this because I think this case should have gone through or because I have a particular view regarding Trump's innocence or guilt but it is annoying to see these posts pretending that an election & votes are a substitute for legal & judicial proceedings.
@lavern_spicer "I'm only gonna say this once:
PLEASE SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT DONALD TRUMP ENDING ROE V WADE!
All Trump did was pick conservative justices for the Court."
So are you also going to chastise Trump when he once again claims responsibility for Roe V Wade being overturned?
@TalkWithSally @TM1Politics Or, if knowing they were on their way out, they abused their position and committed crimes but hid them well enough to not be discovered until after there was a new president? (2/2)
@TalkWithSally @TM1Politics Except if this is the case and impeachment is the only way to hold a president accountable, does that mean a president can commit crimes and then escape consequences simply by resigning before an impeachment can occur? (1/2)
@SteveLovesAmmo Out of curiosity, if those presidents were committing war crimes shouldn't they have impeached? Or at least have faced the possibility of impeachment while president?
@BasedSavannah@ScottAdamsSays Cut 50% of government workers huh? So cut lot of medical service providers, the ancillary staff that support said providers, a variety of security positions and roles, emergency response, postal services, etc...?
Or do you equate government workers simply with bureaucrats?
@AdrienneM5@BasedSavannah@ScottAdamsSays Stop federal employee pensions because why? Because it's wrong to show loyalty to a place of work?
Also, are you aware that federal employees have deductions from their pay that go to fund the federal employee retirement system?
@TrumpDailyPosts On their way out of office before an impeachment occur and 3) apperently still does not have standardized rules and procedures to help keep them consistently fair
@TrumpDailyPosts My main issues with this are 1) impeachment is a political process and, based on what we've seen from both major parties, is suspect to pressures beyond if something was right or wrong and legal or illegal
2) can be avoided simply by a person resigning or otherwise being
@TrumpDailyPosts Also, if this trial came 8 years ago, wouldn't the same complaints about it interfering with an election be made? Plus, if memory serves me right, weren't there claims after the 2020 election that a president could not be indicted/charged outside of a congressional impeachemnt?
