So, daycare is charging parents tuition during classroom &/or center closure for COVID positive cases. If my child is required to quarantine for a daycare exposure, we still have to pay when he isn’t present. That seems ethically right, right? #falsebilling@POTUS@BernieSanders
Young children are at risk for severe #COVID19. COVID-NET data show rates of COVID-19-associated hospitalizations in children ages 4 years & younger are rising rapidly. Getting vaccinated can help protect children who aren't eligible for vaccination. More: https://t.co/qpYN3dSJL8
@joncoopertweets Literally the exact thought I have daily. Only yesterday, it was louder than normal during a quick trip to @Walmart. 95% (and that’s probably being generous) of shoppers were unmasked.
If you wear a mask to go to a store during a pandemic it's called proper health protocols not living in fear.
If you need to open carry a gun to go to a store it's called living in fear.
Just Saying: Aaron Rogers is protesting in the name of MAGA uninformed anti-vaxxers and keeps his job. Colin Kaepernick protests peacefully for equality and is rejected by the NFL. There is something seriously wrong with American sports society.
I don't see a way out of this #pandemic anytime soon without a #VaccineMandate, a #MaskMandate, & experienced reporters (maybe w/ experience in warzones) embedded w/ medical teams actually showing the public on TV the horror of what is happening in hospitals. #MedTwitter
A shoutout to all the parents out there still trying to make Christmas magic while navigating the Omicron shit show. I see you with your festive sweater and your dead eyes.
I've worked on infectious disease outbreaks for 30 years. I've NEVER seen anything like the speed of Omicron. It's as infectious as measles spreading in a non-immune population, with a much shorter incubation time therefore much faster doubling time. Hope it's a lot less severe.
