@CamGuthrie@ChiefCobey The Guelph trails, like the real trails, they are full of garbage. It’s a disaster, drug paraphernalia, booze and broken glass. It’s a 3rd world country right in our beautiful “byard” every green voter wanted parks and also apparently encampments -got wool pulled over their eyes.
@Sportsnet disappointed that you crashed right at the last pitch of the game. Invest in some Observability software to scale properly. Look into https://t.co/7hZ4SvtPtn
@CamGuthrie Mo money mo problems. Fundamental change is needed, the culture of city government spending habits, mayor, laws, the usual can fix this problem. Not more money. Do these ppl want housing? There has been a tremendous effort to solve this problem, don’t act like this is the answer!
@CamGuthrie The roads are no safer, drivers speed in residential areas and have zero regard for the law, people and kids safety. The city does very little to solve for this. I’m scared to send my kids walking down to their grandparents, because I see how people drive in this city.
@CamGuthrie Here’s the sidewalk on one of the busiest streets in Guelph - Speedvale @CamGuthrie.
Sidewalks are a disaster, hard for a healthy active adult, can only imagine how dangerous this is for Older or Younger people.
One wrong step and you’re clearly falling on the street.
@CamGuthrie Safety shouldn’t be a luxury. Let’s prioritize pedestrian and cyclist safety and set an example for others. I urge you to act - police cannot patrol every street. No one should be in a rush in Guelph, educate ppl & get civil servants to do more.
#RoadSafety#Guelph
@CamGuthrie We need city-wide speed limits reduced to 40 km/h (30 near all schools), better enforcement, and meaningful traffic-calming measures—especially in older neighbourhoods. New developments see investment in bike lanes and safety; old Guelph is being left behind.
@CamGuthrie data shows survival rates drop significantly when vehicles travel at 50 km/h vs. 40 km/h. Why are city streets, especially near schools, crosswalks, and senior areas not reduced on scale? Why is Guelph not doing more.
@CamGuthrie The speed limits and lack of safety measures on key streets like Woolwich, London, Speedvale & Exhibition Park where bike lanes are nonexistent around this beautiful park.
@CamGuthrie, As a father of 5 and a resident of Guelph for 2 years, I'm deeply concerned about road safety in our city. Today, 2 pedestrians were struck at a crosswalk on Woolwich—one airlifted to hospital. This isn't shocking, sadly.
@xplore_ca Would be happy to. Please hit follow as Twitter doesn’t allow DMs without following or unless I purchase a blue check mark. Alternatively, I can try through Facebook or Instagram. Would this work?
@gmbutts@TorontoStar Taken down? Haha - There are real issues in the city/province that do not include a simple relationship mishap. I’d like to see some real corruption “take-downs” but likely the TS is being paid off to lay low on those to focus on reality tv sitcom for their paper. What a joke.
@tboss713@joshhart Supreme court and politicians need to solve for the death rate of those alive and their children walking school hallways. Before they solve for the death rate of those who haven’t even left the vagina of their mother.
@tboss713@joshhart So we all agree killing babies is horrible but removing gun rights and the killing of children in schools is not.
Apparently it’s easier to remove the rights a woman have to make on their OWN body than it is to remove any individuals possession… just in the U.S.
You woke yet?
@blogTO Prioritize opening public toilets year round!! Don’t forget we even pee and poop in the winter. It doesn’t stop because of the season. And yes, we also take our kids to parks year round. Fix the toilets - make it year round accessible!! @cityoftoronto@JohnTory - fix the parks!
@suunto
My watch and the heart rate strap have been very disappointing over the past 1.5 yrs. Your support asked ship my watch to be fixed but when I asked for a loaner NO response. I missed my warranty. The strap broke and the HR strap doesn’t work. Expensive tech should last!
@gordperks@TorontoPolice High Park is incredibly unsafe to pedestrians and cyclists.
Cars driving up the one-way on Colborne Lodge Dr to the top of High Park forcing cyclists and other cars off the road.
Cars parked in cycling lanes and zero regard for anyones safety.
