Based on confirmed reporting:
Palantir, now the Pentagon's core AI system, rolled out across all branches. No usage restrictions.
xAI (Grok) granted access to classified military networks. No conditions publicly disclosed.
OpenAI signed a deal with the Department of War. Stated it maintains "red lines" on mass surveillance and autonomous weapons, similar to Anthropic's position, but accepted the contract.
Microsoft provides Azure cloud infrastructure for classified Pentagon systems.
The architecture being built: Palantir for targeting and intelligence processing, xAI for inference, Microsoft for infrastructure.
Anthropic's Claude was in that pipeline, integrated into systems used in the Iran operation until the company refused to remove the guardrails.
