📚 Dr. Cathy Moss, the first woman to graduate from MUSC’s College of Dental Medicine in 1973, is featured in the Waring Historical Library’s oral history collection.
While Dr. George McTeer, the first African American graduate in 1974, did not record an oral history of his own, his impact is reflected in the voices of those who worked closely with him and are featured in the collection.
📖✨May is Preservation Month!
Like any archive or museum, the Waring Historical Library is committed to preserving our rare books, manuscripts, scrapbooks, photographs, and more.
One key to preservation? Using acid-free folders, paper, and boxes!
