We are currently responding to an incident between Bedworth and Nuneaton, near the A444 Griff Way.

There is significant congestion in the area. Motorists are advised to avoid the route where possible and use alternative roads.

We are currently attending an incident on Grimstock Hill, A446, Coleshill, due to overhead power lines coming down.
The southbound lane of the carriageway and the footpath are both closed. Please avoid the area while emergency crews and utility partners make the area safe.

Monday 17 August 6:45pm. We are in attendance at a large building fire in the vicinity of Coalpit Lane, Long Lawford. This fire is visible from Coventry, Leamington and Rugby and is producing a large smoke plume. We are receiving multiple calls to the incident due to the smoke.

Update 14/8/26, 11.30am
We have scaled back our presence at the incident at Salford Priors. The fire is now under control and we have 1 remaining at the scene.
During this period of prolonged hot weather we'd like to remind you to take extra care to reduce the risks of fires.

We are still in attendance at Salford Priors but this is no longer declared a mayor incident.
The A46 is now open in both directions between Salford Bridge and Arrow Services. Please continue to keep windows and doors closed and avoid the area.

We remain on the scene at the large fire in Salford Priors.
Due to smoke in the carriageway, the A46 is closed in both directions between Arrow Services and Salford Bridge.
Residents are also advised to keep their windows and doors closed.

Fire crews are currently dealing with a large fire on Weston Lane, Bubbenhall.
Residents in the surrounding area are advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke. Avoid the area to allow emergency vehicles access.
