BREAKING: Democratic Congressman Dan Goldman introduces a historic resolution to clarify that the Constitution's two-term limit on presidents applies even if the terms are nonconsecutive — enraging MAGA.
And it gets even better...
"We are a nation of laws, not kings. The 22nd Amendment is clear that no person can be elected President more than twice," Goldman wrote on X. "Any attempt by Donald Trump to do so is blatantly unconstitutional, and I call on my colleagues – D or R – to stand by their oath to defend the Constitution."
Goldman's move comes after Trump "joked" that he might run for an illegal third term.
"I suspect I won’t be running again unless you say, ‘He’s so good we’ve got to figure something else out,’" Trump said to Republicans.
Of course, Trump was not just joking and has already demonstrated a profound lack of respect for our democratic norms. If he can find a way to pursue a third term, he'll do it. He must be stopped.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you support Goldman's crucial resolution — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. @cour99773@krassenstein Hmmm... does this include Muslim, Hindu, and other religions' prayers in schools? Aren't we free to *not* stand for the Star Spangled Banner and Pledge of Allegiance as per the 1st Amendment? Or, are we only free to think like you? 🤷
@Tommy1295061107 @davidniceguy89 @seanferrick Gene Roddenberry believed that politics was integral to that future and wrote that idea into the DNA of Star Trek.
@001PalmerA @seanferrick Except... Gene Roddenberry himself believed that art should contain questions of politics and morality. His creation of the Vulcans and the Klingons, among many other races, were direct political statements. Solely? No. Integral? According to the creator, yes.
@McleanEsq@shannonsnow34@PamKeithFL ...which begs the question, why wasn't Saudi Arabia included? Muslims from Saudi Arabia and/or funded by Saudi nationals have killed more Americans on American soil than all other foreign groups combined since WWII, including more than all other Muslim countries combined.
@RetiredCrimeDog@shannonsnow34@PamKeithFL@TheDemocrats Executive Order 13769, Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States (January 27, 2017). A second one was issued on March 6, 2017, because the 1st on was blocked by the courts.
A Florida Black woman with a medical condition causing her to lose all of her amniotic fluid was denied an abortion.
She was sent home from the hospital to deliver a dead baby with apologies.
Thinking she was going to die she went to the salon so her mother wouldn’t have to deal with her hair when she died. She ended up delivering in the salon bathroom’s toilet and almost bled to death.
Trump could care less. Trump hates women so much he has pledged to make RFK, Jr. health Czar for women.

The "race baiting" was calling Puerto Rico an island of floating garbage, playing Dixie before the only Black speaker took the stage, and referring to a Black man carving a watermelon and not a pumpkin.
Pointing it out is just telling the truth. Only a troll would get that backwards
