Dark dirty water blasts into the ocean at Oceanside, California

The dirty water flowing from this large pipe into the ocean is not sewage or a water main burst, it’s part of the Oceanside Harbor Dredging project

The discharged water is a mixture of sand, silt and seawater is pumped through large pipes directly onto local beaches

The purpose of this is The US Army Corps of Engineers regularly removes sand and silt from the Oceanside Harbor entrance to keep it safe for boats and it’s also done for shoreline replenishment

This is Highway 880 in Fremont, California.

This lane used to be free, before 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

After that, there would only need to be two people in the car, in order to use that lane.

They spent millions of dollars installing cameras, and fast track scanners, only to make this lane a toll lane.

Now, you must have three people in the vehicle, in order to use the lane, and if you have less than that, it’ll cost you roughly $10, to drive less than 10 miles.

This is just another example of how California uses our own tax dollars, to extract more money from us.
