Unpopular opinion:

Matric farewells should be held at schools, with students wearing full school uniforms. No outsiders nor fancy cars allowed.

Just a bunch of scholars & their teachers sharing memories, wishing each other well & having a good time, over a 3-course meal.

@GodPenuel There's a school in Kariega which did this all of them had their full uniform, over a 3 course meal. Solomon Mahlangu High School is the school.
