After 9 painful years of being stuck in development hell my first album, Crush Depth, is finally ready to be shared with everyone. Please give it a listen. #postrock#instrumentalmusic
@HL_Alyx_NoVR Can we just take a moment to point out how terrible (and misleading) that name is? I think everyone realizes that it should have been called Half-Life 3: Episode One, since it's the first episode AFTER HL2 and the episodes were supposed to exist instead of a full-lenght sequel.
@HL_Alyx_NoVR At this point the only explaination that comes to mind is that they want to include HL3 stuff in it. If not then, well, apparently they just don't care.
It's been 2189 days since the release of Half-Life: Alyx - the same amount of time as between the release of HL1 and HL2. It has also been 6737 days (~18,5 years) since the release of HL2E2. The next Half-Life game remains unnannounced.

@gabefollower This situation is not gonna resolve itself in a month or two. It'll most likely go well into 2027 if not beyond. I think Valve are kinda screwed. They either have to charge 1k+... or cancel/delay it indefinitely.
@litexev I still think that the winter break will determine how close they really are. If they're REALLY close they'll probably not take a break and keep working instead. In that case plans have slipped but not by much. If they do go on a break that means they still have A LOT to do.
@litexev I really don't think they'd announce it on Friday or Monday. I thought TGA reveal didn't make sense but at this point it's so close that it's the most likely option.
@litexev I think the only thing that matters is whether Valve goes on a winter break or not. If the game is close enough they will keep grinding. However if they do take a break it means HL3 is nowhere near the final push and even early 2026 might be out of the question for the reveal.
@Zemalf Man, just a day earlier I have finished rewatching your TFTD LP, what a timing! Good to see more classic X-COM. I hope you're gonna play X-COM: Apoc at some point (a man can dream).
The European Citizens' Initiative has launched! This is the biggest and most ambitious chance to create law on publishers destroying videogames they have already have sold to you. Get EU citizens to sign it!

The UK petition is up! Finally! We had to soften our language a bit from the original version, but we were able to keep all the important parts (the main part had to be 300 characters or less also). Go sign it if you're a UK citizen or resident!

@InfernisAbaddon Awesome, just awesome. I always thought that the Cacodemon was one of the weaker designs in D3... But I think it mostly has to do with its size. Because honestly, the design itself is pretty cool, it's just a bit too small in the game.
