Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba will tomorrow go on trial together with two officers for abducting Dr. Besigye and his aide Hajj Obed Lutale on Nov 16 2024 from Nairobi.
Besigye filed an enforcement of rights application whose hearing Judge Baguma fixed for June 30.
Muhoozi abducted Besigye’s lawyer Erias Lukwago who was set to serve him court papers. Muhoozi also deported Hon. Martha Karua who was leading the Besigye defense.

The Rotaract Club of Najjera held a medical camp in Katenga Sub-county, Mitooma District, offering eye care, dental services, cancer and TB screening, and pediatric treatment.

Assistant District Health Officer Robert Gumisiriza said the area lacks a Health Centre III, and such camps help improve access to healthcare for residents.
