@DeusMozzarella @DavidSacks Yes problems that they once needed people to hire or products to buy but now don’t. Heroin is also a product and the cartel is also rich. A popular product is not always a net win for society. In this case there’s massive 2nd order effects.

@be_shouldnt @DavidSacks From what I’ve seen there’s plenty of evidence this can make costs cheaper but no evidence other than circumstantial that this will increase employment. Given this affects all knowledge work you kinda need both for people on mass to care and get optimistic about it.

You could make a conspiratorial argument hard to prove beyond circumstantial evidence that there’s a few people at the top of influence who are doing this who are Jewish. I don’t believe it but you could make it. Logically on mass why would Jews want to import millions of people that hate them? Or to destabilize a country like the US who has been one of the few stable countries for Jews? It’s beyond stupid.

Given they are a high tech hub I think they have a good shot at disappointing you. A trade embargo for what? Not committing sovereign suicide? Good luck.

Did I deny other suffering during ww2? It sounds like you know some history. Yet you have no specific critiques but are broadly anti Zionist, which just means anti Jews having self determination in a land where they can defend themselves. Which basically means your at most pro genocide of Jews or at the very least agnostic of the future genocides and pogroms that would occur.
