St ANTHONYS TO ETIHAD WALK
Guy was one of the kindest, funniest, and most genuine lads you could ever meet — & of course a massive blue! From Maine Road begging for a ticket together on the final game v Southampton, all the way to Istanbul to watch us in the Champions league final, I’m glad I got to spend so many of my special memories with Guy and he’s going to be hugely missed by everyone, the last few days have just shown how much of a big hole he’s left & how loved he was.
The GoFundMe that Eddie set up has already raised an incredible amount to help with repatriation, funeral costs, and to support Ava — but I’d like to do a bit more to keep that support going and hopefully everyone can dig a bit deeper to donate some extra cash 🙏🏻
Next Sunday (2nd November), before City’s game against Bournemouth (kick-off 4:30pm), I’ll be walking from Wythenshawe (St Anthony’s) all the way to the Etihad Stadium in Guy’s memory. Every step will be for him and for his family.
Will be setting off walking from St Anthony’s at 10.30am.
If anyone else from Wythenshawe who’s heading to the match fancies joining me for the walk, or would like to join whilst on route or even maybe closer to the Etihad. You’d be more than welcome obviously — the more of us walking for Guy, the better 💙
I appreciate most have already donated to the go fund me, but if you can spare anything more at all, please consider donating to the GoFundMe page below — every pound makes a difference and all proceeds are going directly to @man Dad.
