I haven't really been online in a while, honestly there's nothing I want to post other than to call for a ceasefire in Gaza. End the genocide, end apartheid.
I still lurk sometimes & fave the odd tweet but I don't hang out and keep up here like I used to.
If you toot or skeet I'm warriorbob at mastodon dot social, and warriorbob dot com respectively!
Technologically at least, Mastodon/fediverse is more like what I wanted out of Twitter in the first place. It isn't really the same "cultural moment" Twitter was, which I think is really valuable to have even if it's not where I am, but right now nothing is that so we'll see.
Seems as good a time as any to say I've been quite enjoying Mastodon and I'm a bit more active there, currently as warriorbob (no 9 this time, trying that out) [at] https://t.co/B9jfIzB3fs.
last week, my band Dog Food For Bananas played to an incredibly welcoming and warm audience at @magwestofficial. it was inspiring, and a great milestone for us! here’s to more good stuff in the future!
Despite problems I'm still also on Twitter for the moment, due mainly to some extremely rad folks I follow & read here. But that's kind of the main reason.
It's like an old favorite cafe that I think sucks now but a few good friends still gather there, due to history.
Not that I'm terribly loud on social media lately, but I'm enjoying Mastodon and generally look to that first now. Currently @[email protected] but I'm sure I'll move to a more specific instance at some point.
NEW VIKING GUITAR LIVE MUSIC! We whipped up a medley of tunes from the DOS/Windows shmup TYRIAN. As a HUGE extra bonus, we got original composer @funkyrustic to join in on keys! (Links in next tweet.)

@chrisgetoutside Thanks for sharing this album, I just listened through and really enjoyed it. I've only gone through once but I thought the songwriting and the overall "sound" of it if that makes sense were really strong, the kind of thing I could see myself coming back to a lot.
I had the honor of being interviewed by the amazing Morgan Roe for her podcast, Zeitgeist Radio. We chat about various bits of music technology, my love for tracker music and Ableton Live, and even kick around AI a bit. It was super fun :)
It's up today: https://t.co/NaRs0dnXKd
Happy birthday, https://t.co/Zt0cMN1W50!
7 years ago, Peter Kim & Kevin Lin called me out at @MAGFest for having every song they wanted to jam on memorized.
Shortly afterwards, I registered a domain.
