Today was an amazing day of female business owners supporting one another. WRF is doing a gift card drive to support veteran family members taking care of wounded veterans. Our thanks goes to @markitawoods and @ActionTKDwb for their support! #WomenInspireWomen#SupportVeterans

The importance of mentorship:
While Shelia Kirkbride and Summer Watson are the Directors of Warrior Research Foundation (WRF), they also mentor university students within the community. How are you supporting community? Be a mentor!
Friends, today is #GivingTuesday2018! If you want to help support our veterans, please check us out at: https://t.co/J4OCw7pX0f. Donate at: https://t.co/kFP25lhHyh or by sending a donation to: 4222 Fortuna Center Plaza, Ste 169 Dumfries, VA 22025-1515 Thank you for your support!
Wishing everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. Do something kind today that doesn’t cost anything: call a friend you’ve lost touch with, tell your family you love them, smile and hold the door open for people...you never know how the smallest gesture will pay it forward. ❤️
The U.S. Marine Corps Birthday is celebrated every year on 10 November. In 1775, the Continental Marines were established. WRF is run and supported by Marine Corps spouses, so we want to say “Happy Birthday” to all #Marines past and present and their families. Thank you!!!
The directors of WRF recently had the opportunity to meet Sara Potecha - one of the first women to graduate from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. She just released her book, West Point Woman: How Character is Created and Leadership is Learned. https://t.co/PlqceFzT0K
Heartfelt condolences to those suffering from the tragic & senseless act of violence #ThousandOaks. That ex-Marine's despicable actions run counter to what the vast majority of veterans are rightfully known for: serving w/ honor then making positive contributions to society
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
