I sat in the committee room yesterday reading emails between ORYX ENERGY LTD and the Ministry of Energy officials, including the Cabinet Secretary, and I was shocked to discover that they were all in agreement to import fuel at USD 253.94 per MT—while the same government they serve imports fuel at USD 84.00 per MT. If OMCs are not taking advantage in cohorts with ministry officials, who is fooling whom? This is an artificial get‑rich‑quick scam orchestrated by a fuel cabal! We are not stupid—only for the deal to be cancelled at the last minute when a shipment of substandard fuel imported by ONE PETROLEUM LIMITED arrived and was offloaded, costing Kenyans the equivalent of USD 198,855 per MT—still USD 114 more per MT than the government’s own G‑to‑G rate.

Sometimes, it is difficult to make sense of what some people actually believe.

Here is the conundrum:

You pose the question: "Why has the government of Kenya authorized public servants to take bribes?

Yet:

A couple of days ago, you seemed to be cheering this Government of Thieves, by Thieves, and for Thieves.

You told us that the White Elephant Talanta stadium will earn the High Priest of Corruption in Kenya 750,000 votes. Essentially endorsing the most corrupt president we have ever seen.

Let me help answer this key question that you raised.

Our country is under siege by criminals.

Led by the chief promoter of corruption in Kenya.

He is the one who has filled his government with thieves.

@ItsMwangiWaIria is under a criminal investigation for stealing millions from Muranga citizens.

@GovernorNanok stole and oversaw the stealing of billions of money from a county with a poverty rate of 80% and a literacy rate of 20%.

@KideroEvans stole billions in Nairobi - I investigated and reported billions stolen under his watch, or by him.

KRA Chairman Anthony Mwaura was recently under a criminal investigation for corruption.

@DrOparanya was not too long ago under investigation for corruption.

This is just a sample.

You know what is common about these names?

They have all been protected, and promoted into senior positions in government - often, in the middle of investigations by the @EACCKenya

In a country of 55 million Kenyans - @WilliamsRuto prefers this thieves.

Every person he picks for anything, is irredeemably corrupt.

He has never met a thief he did not like or could not do business with.

In fact, having a criminal disposition appears to be the commonality tying people in senior positions in government. It wants and desires criminals - because larger thieves want corruptible people down the line.

Read the second attachment - about a Wickness Chivayo - who is the very definition of corruption in Africa. Now, look at the 3rd picture. This same thief who leaves nothing but empty coffers and destruction of lives for average citizens in his wake, is cavorting with our president!

So, here is the uncomfortable truth:

This president has an unhealthy penchant for criminals. He has never met a thief he did not like or could not do business with. H.E Rigathi Gachagua is unapologetically a Kikuyu supremist and a tribalist class A. But he makes a valid point when he calls out leaders from Northern Kenya and tells the truth about them. Hon Rigathi Gachagua is 💯 right when he says (a) Northern Kenya leaders are thieves who steal from their people and invest public funds in Nairobi, (b) Northern Kenyan leaders can't account for about Kshs 1 trillion given to the region since devolution started in 2013. (c) Northern Kenya leaders have not built world class institutions ie schools, hospitals etc and have EATEN CDF money. (d) Northern Kenyans leaders including MCAs are all domiciled in Nairobi and have homes, wives and children only in Nairobi and none in Northern Kenya. Look at Garissa and Marsabit. Where did Kshs 300 billion in devolution money go to? Leaders steal money left, right and centre and nothing happens. Gachagua is playing politics, but when he talks about Northern Kenyan leaders and how they have let down their people he is being truthful and i'm with him 💯.
