BREAKING: Donald Trump's 2024 immediately turns to disaster as a federal appeals court denies his desperate attempt to delay the E. Jean Carroll defamation trial set to begin in two weeks.

This is the last thing in the world that Trump wanted...

The disgraced former president — who a jury already ruled sexually abused Carroll — was hoping to delay the trial after an earlier failed attempt to use "presidential immunity."

Caroll won a previous defamation case and was awarded $5 million by the jury but then Trump proceeded to immediately defame and smear her again — paving the way for this new lawsuit.

Trump tried to convince the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit that he needed more time to consider his options, including possibly seeking a review by the Supreme Court. The appeals court was unswayed and handed him yet another legal defeat.

The defamation trial is set to begin January 16th.
